About Us:

• Ladli Lakshmi Yojana has been implemented in Madhya Pradesh with the objective of creating positive thinking in public towards the birth of girl child, improvement in sex ratio, improvement in educational level, health condition of girls and laying the foundation stone for their good future.
• Amount of Grant/Loan/Financial Assistance/Pension/Benefit: After online registration of the girl child, a certificate of Rs.1,43,000/- will be given. A scholarship of 2000/- will be given to the girl child on admission in class 6th, 4000/- on admission in class 9th, 6000/- on admission in class 11th and 6000/- on admission in class 12th. Ladli girls will be given an incentive amount of Rs. 25000/- in two equal installments in the first and last year of the course period after taking admission in graduation or professional course (course duration minimum two years) after class 12th. Amount of Rs.100,000/- will be paid on completion of 21 years of age, provided the beneficiary girl child has appeared in class 12th examination and if she is married, then her marriage is completed after completing the minimum prescribed age mentioned in Child Marriage Prohibition Act 2006. happened after

Eligibility:

• Girl child born on or after 01 January 2006.
• Parents should be native of Madhya Pradesh
• Parents who have two or less than two children, family planning has been adopted on the birth of second child
• Parents should not be income tax payers
• The girl child of the first delivery who was born on or after April 01, 2008, will be given benefits without family planning. The condition of family planning will remain the same after the second delivery. Amendments to make the scheme effective 1. In a family where there are maximum two children and the mother or father has died, registration can be done till the child is 5 years old. But in this type of case, if the woman/man gets married for the second time, and already has two children, then the daughter born from the second marriage will not get the benefit of the scheme. 2. The benefits of the scheme will also be given to orphan girls or adopted girls. 3. Even if there are three girls together at the time of first delivery, all the three girls will get the benefit of Ladli Lakshmi Yojana. 4. Eligible girls born to women prisoners in jail will be benefited under the scheme. 5. Those families which have not adopted family planning due to health related reasons, cases will be accepted for two years instead of one year.
• The benefit of the scheme will be given to the girl child born to a rape victim or a girl child.
